There is no need to dedicate hours upon hours to working out to see the benefits.

Better than Nothing
Even if you don't have time for a 30-minute exercise or you can't go for 30 minutes, even doing a light 5-10 minute workout will help immensely.
Overcoming Obstacles
Initially starting your workout can be the hardest part of everything. You will not see any changes right off the bat (Robinson).
Some Things You Might Experience
Exhaustion
You'll feel tired, depressed, or stressed, but you just don't realize that everything just takes time. You'll soon come to realize that working out consistently will give you a ton of energy.
For example, if you ever feel tired, just take a quick, five-minute walk, and boom, more energy (Robinson).
Feeling Hopeless
If exercise has never been something that you have done before, there are still many ways that you are able to get comfortably active.
Start slow, with easy exercises, and then work your way up to more intense exercises.
Getting Started When You Have a Mental Health Issue
When you have a mental health issue, it may seem like a workout is something that would never be possible, yet all you have to do is just start small and easy (Robinson).
When You Have Energy
Scheduling workouts when you have the most energy is best because then you are able to dedicate a certain amount of time and some of that energy into working out.
Going all in may not be the goal, It could just be to get rid of the energy (Robinson).
Doing Things You Enjoy
Doing things you enjoy are what gets you out of bed in the morning, and the same thing can be applied to working out as well.
Play your favorite sport with people you like being around.
Do the exercises you like the most.
Or even take your dog for a walk (Robinson).
Be Comfortable
Wear comfortable clothing.
Being in an environment you know.
Be with people you feel safe and comfortable around (Robinson).
Reward Yourself
After doing any exercise that you may not do normally, reward yourself.
Treat yourself to you favorite, healthy snack, a nice shower or bath, anything that can be seen as some sort of treat (Robinson).
